Tom Cruise Committed To Studying For Rock of Ages Role
Glad to hear he is committed!
Last night at a red carpet event, director Adam Shankman confessed that Tom Cruise has been working extra hard in preparing for his lead role in Rock Of Ages. For some time now, Tommy has been rumoured to be stepping into the rocking shoes Stacee Jaxx for the film adaptation of the play, but we haven’t heard too much on the progress he and the film are making. Adam’s put us at ease by praising Tommy efforts to bring a real edge to the role. He explained to sources:
“I think we’re going to see him, every drop, the rock ‘n’ roll god! I’m very excited. He’s so committed to doing it. He’s pouring himself in this part in a way I’ve never had an actor do... it’s pretty intense...Between the voice lessons, the incredible study... researching the period, it’s like 1987, just going there!”
Righteous, dude! We have some real doubts about Tommy pulling off any musical numbers, but we’re happy to hear he is giving the role the attention it deserves.
