Just when we thought it was almost over.
Oksana Grigorieva and her lawyer Daniel Horowitz are sticking with their plan to sue Mel Gibson in a civil lawsuit.
When asked if Mel’s no contest plea might have changed their minds, Horowitz said, “Our position hasn’t changed.” They will claim battery, emotional distress and defamation.
Unfortunately for Oksana, Mel’s no contest plea in their criminal case will not help her in a civil lawsuit since Mel did not admit to guilt.
This just seems really unnecessary. But now it seems that Oksana really is looking for some sort of monetary compensation.
